At Harborside Students, we want to lead our students to behold God, be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ, and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Harborside Students Sunday Mornings

Middle School

MS Discipleship - Sundays at 9:00am
Main Auditorium and Room 226 (the Attic)

Middle school students will worship as the church body in our main worship service and then be dismissed to their area for discipleship group time in order to make friends and grow closer to God.

MS Service - Sundays at 10:30am
Room 226 (the Attic)

Middle school students will come for a full service including games and teaching.

High School

HS Discipleship - Sundays at 10:30am

HIgh school students will worship as the church body in our main worship service and then be dismissed to their area for Bible Study and group conversations.

Middle School

Monday Night Encounters

Time & Location: 6:30 - 8:30 PM in Worship Center

Details: Monday Night Encounters is a space where middle and high school students gather to encounter Jesus and be shaped by His Word. We meet in the Worship Center at 6:30PM for food, worship, teaching, and small groups focused on following Jesus and walking out what it means to live as His disciples.

Monday MS Sports‍

Time & Location: Begin in Worship Center and end in Room 222

Details: Middle schoolers will gather for sports and a short Bible teaching.

(MS is not meeting March 16 or April 6th)

Highschool Breakaway Trip

Each year we invite our high school students to our annual spring break trip, Breakaway. It’s a time for students to step away from school, phones, and the stresses of everyday life so they can encounter God and build meaningful relationships with other students and adult leaders. Year after year, Breakaway becomes a place where we see God move in powerful ways as students choose to spend their spring break seeking after Him.

Does Harborside offer trips for students?

Yes! Our ministry does one trip a year for each age group. Middle school goes to CIY MIX camp every summer, where students have the opportunity to hear age-appropriate teaching, be led in dynamic worship, engage with peers in small groups and let their energy out in competitions throughout the week. For high school, we take our students in a yearly spring break trip, Breakaway, to disconnect from school, phones, and the stresses of life in order to encounter God and build relationships with other students and adult leaders.

How can I serve in student ministry?

There are many opportunities to serve in our student ministry with groups and mentoring. Monday and Wednesday nights are our connect group times where you can have to chance to lead connect groups with our students as we go through the Bible and seek revelation of how God wants us to glorify Him. Also on Sunday mornings with our middle schoolers, playing games and leading connect groups that discuss their teaching for each morning service and build relationships with them during the services.
