Next is a 2-week class to help you get connected to our church and learn more about Christianity. It’s where you’ll get answers to questions about baptism, membership, or how to get involved at Harborside. At the class you will also learn the vision, mission, and strategy of our church.

The Two Sessions of Next Class

The Trinity & The Bible

A whole class designed to inform you on our beliefs about the fullness of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Whether you have been of faith for years or curious about Christianity, you are encouraged to attend. You will be challenged to read the Bible and you will be given space to ask questions.

The Church & You

Here you will learn the history of the "macro" Church, learn the stances and practices of our church, and be given an opportunity to ask questions. You will also hear every way you can join in our mission and serve. You will be informed of serving opportunities and given a time to meet our staff.

What staff will I meet at next class?

You will meet many staff members. Kurt, Lissette, Joy, Ethan and Amos teach weeks and many other staff members greet, sing, and attend the class.

What is talked about over the 2 weeks?

At Next we talk about Jesus and the Bible. We also talk about church history and where you fit into our church.

What is different about this new form of Next class if I attended one in years past?

With our 2 week version of next class we expand on our beliefs and you can learn new things about Harborside that you haven’t learned before.
