What to Expect
on Sundays
Welcoming Environment
You first will walk in to a lively church lobby. There you can grab some coffee or snacks at the Cafe. You can expect to be greeted by someone. We love learning names and hearing your story!
Worship & Prayer
During our Sunday services, you'll experience a blend of worship and prayer. Our intention is to create a Spirit filled worship environment where you can connect with God, and where God can meet you in a meaningful way.
God's Word
During service, a pastor will share a 30 minute revelation from God's Word. It will always be a bible based teaching intended to encourage and lead you deeper with God.

Harborside Christian Church is truly a place where people find community. The Bible calls the church a body—we were made to gather, with all generations together, to grow into the image of Christ. Every single person has an important part in that purpose, including you.
At Harborside, we desire to follow the Spirit and be led by Him in all that we do. Whether in worship during a Sunday service or in one of our connect groups throughout the week, our heart is to love and lead others into encounters with the fullness of God.

1. Ask the people attending what brought them there and what kept them at this church. Listening to the church-goers is super valuable in getting the real idea of the church.
2. Make sure senior leadership is humble and always relying on the Lord. It's important that leadership is seeking first His kingdom.
3. You should make sure your spirit is at peace. You should have confidence that you can get on board with what they are doing. Ask questions like: "Am I excited to be apart of their ministries?"
4. Find the right kid's and student ministry. Drive across town if you have to. It is always a wise decision to put your kids in the right environment.
Harborside is a non denominational Christian church in Safety Harbor, Florida. Our desire is to lead people to encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and build meaningful friendships through small groups, serving, and discipleship. Our heart is for all people to immediately feel welcomed, loved, and at home. People often describe Harborside as friendly, authentic, and family-oriented.
Our church services are for all ages and backgrounds. Our team is intentional to love and lead every person that comes through the doors by creating a Spirit-filled worship environment (hymns and contemporary style songs) and intergenerational/applicable bible teaching. You will never be embarrassed or pressured into anything. You can watch one of our live-streamed services to get the idea!
If you’re visiting Harborside for the first time, you can expect a friendly, spirit-filled atmosphere and modern worship music followed by a Bible-based message from one of our teaching pastors. Services last about 60–70 minutes, and most people dress casually. Our team will help you find seating, kids check-in, and anything else you need. You can also grab coffee and light breakfast items in our lobby café before or after service and take time to meet people. Head over to our visit page to get directions.
Whatever you are comfortable in! And whatever allows you to worship God best. But to give you an idea of what to expect, golf course attire is typically the maximum niceness for many of our people.
We believe in fostering a diverse family environment that embraces individuals from all generations, backgrounds, ethnicities, and abilities. The unity found within our community, despite our differences, reflects the essence of God's Kingdom, and it's something we wholeheartedly celebrate. In other words, there is a warm and welcoming place here for you. Geographically, our church family is from all over. Our community includes those from Clearwater, Oldsmar, Safety Harbor, Tampa, and others from Pinellas.

At Harborside Christian Church we serve communion every single week. Communion is of high value and importance to us. It is a weekly reminder of our salvation and a remembrance of the Lord Jesus' sacrifice that secured it.
On your way into the service, you will pick up a communion cup on the tables in the sanctuary entrances. These communion cups have both the grape juice (wine which is the blood of Jesus) and small cracker (which is the body of Jesus) in them. At the specified time in service a host on stage will lead the whole congregation through communion. It is a special moment that we have every week.

Located in the heart of Safety Harbor, Harborside Christian Church sits on a beautiful 35-acre campus designed to be a place of worship, connection, and community. Our campus features a wedding chapel, open gathering spaces, and our main church building just minutes from downtown Safety Harbor. You can find us at 2200 Marshall Street, Safety Harbor, FL, with easy access from our main entrance off McMullen Booth Road and our second entrance (open sunday only) on Marshall Street for those coming from the Safety Harbor side.
