Operation Christmas Child

The Amazing Journey of a Shoebox Gift Begins with You and Results in Evangelism, Discipleship, and Multiplication.

What are the steps?

Packing a shoebox is simple!
Empty shoeboxes will be available at the corner display in the Harborside Christian Church lobby starting October 10th!
Grab yours and go shopping!
Fill your box with school supplies, hygiene essentials, fun items, or whatever the Lord lays on your heart!
You can choose the gender and age range of the child you would like to receive your box, when you fill out a label.  Watch the video below to learn more about filling out the label and attaching it to your shoebox!
Remember to pray for the box along the way and the child that will receive the special gift.
Let the Holy Spirit guide you in the process!

See how you can follow your shoebox!

$9 Donation

Why the Nine Dollars?

Each shoebox makes its way to one of 8 processing centers around the country.  It is there that the box is double checked, designated to its receiving country, prepared for shipment, and sent off!  The $9 helps in covering the costs of collecting, processing, and shipping as well as providing your child with The Greatest Gift booklet in their own language, which encourages them to receive Jesus Christ as their savior.  They will also receive a Bible just for them in their own language!

Check out this video to visually see the impact of the $9 donation for each shoebox packed.

Online Option

Not sure if you are up for the shopping trip?  There is another option!  You can build an entire shoebox online!  You will have the opportunity to select specific gifts in different categories, add a special note, and even upload a picture if you want!  The flat rate for building a shoebox online is $25 which already includes the $9 donation.
