Your Marriage Matters

God’s purpose in marriage is to help shape men and women into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.  Our vision is that couples will grow in their relationship with Christ by building a strong foundation for marriage.

At Harborside Chapel, it’s our honor to build up and inspire the union of a husband and a wife. In a culture that wants couples to believe the odds are stacked against them, we encourage a full view of a committed family unit that remains distinct and treasured. Our team works alongside couples to provide them a beautiful and memorable wedding day and, even more importantly, a divine and enduring marriage.

Marriage Enrichment

We encourage you to join us in a connect group for couples.

Couples in Crisis

Care Groups

These are groups that care about your health, healing and spiritual growth.  Care groups are an entrance point for couples seeking knowledge, information and assistance when dealing with relational crisis.  This is a small-group environment that averages between ten and twenty people.  There may be a cost for materials, but there is no cost for services.

Coaches act as a guide to couples to bring about change in their relationship.  The coach will encourage couples to take action steps to become the couple they want to be.  Credentialed Coaches help couples articulate their future, assess their present and develop an action plan to achieve their goals.  There is a cost for coaching services.

Counselors deal with the more specific issues related to the management of the couple’s relationship distress, habits, anxiety, as well as coping with loss and trauma.  The licensed counselor helps the couple identify what changes are needed to improve their quality of life and together they map out a plan–whether as an individual, a couple or family.  There is a cost for the counseling services per session.

Become A Mentor

We need mentors who have strong marriages and live their lives for Christ. Mentoring is relational. It happens over coffee, in a living room, or at a park.  Mentors share their insight, their personal stories, prayer, and love while getting to know the couple they are mentoring. We need mentors who have been through a variety of different challenges in their own marriages. You don’t need to be perfect, you just need to be willing to openly and authentically encourage someone else.

Get Mentored

Let’s face it. Marriage is hard. But what if you had the odds stacked in your favor? A recent study showed that couples who participated in marriage counseling or mentorship had a 30% higher marital success rate than those who did not. Imagine having a seasoned couple regularly investing in your marriage. That is our vision for you. We want to give you the perfect opportunity to position your marriage for success.
