Volunteer Opportunities:

Are you looking to get involved and get connected?
Would you love to witness children committing their hearts to Jesus?

It may or may not take a village to raise a child, but it certainly takes the equivalent of one to pull off Sunday mornings in Surfside Kids!  Actually, it’s not a village; it’s a community.  Our volunteers are a diverse group of believers who all share a common goal: to help children get to know their Heavenly Father.  And all of them say that they get more from it than they give to it.  Funny how that works!  If you’d like to know more, contact us  to set up a day to “shadow” someone in the area.  "Shadowing" is a great way to see where you'd fit in with our team.

During 9:00am service

Here are the current areas where leaders are needed:

• Nursery (infants)
• Toddlers (walking - age 2)
• 2 year old's
• Pre-K 3 & 4 year old's
• Hosts, Storytellers, & Worship Leaders & Teck for Elementary
• Kindergarden - 5th Grade Small Group Leaders

During 10:45am service

Here are the current areas where leaders are needed:

• Nursery
• 2 year old’s
• Pre-K 3 & 4 year old Small Group Leaders
• Kindergarden - 5th Grade Small Group Leaders
• Steppin’ Up (K-5th grade)
• Welcome Center (SSK Host Team)

These positions are not mandatory every week positions. They can be twice a month and some even once a month. Plus, you’re not alone!  We put you with a team of leaders who all work together to personally engage and impact children.  We also love to have people be “on deck.” These leaders have designated weeks to serve and go where needed each time.  The first step is to see it for yourself.  We call this “shadowing” and it’s not a commitment - it’s an observation.  Once you see it for yourself, you can decide if where you shadow is the place where you fit best.  Jesus really does love the little children, and you’re invited to be a part of what He is doing in Surfside Kids!
