Living Godly and Fulfilling Lives

Harborside’s Singles (35+) Ministry offers opportunities for divorced, widowed, or never married singles to connect with Jesus Christ and one another through spiritual growth, outreach, & fellowship. We seek to support Christian singles to live godly and fulfilling lives as they negotiate the personal, professional and societal challenges, and pressures of being singles.

Everybody, Always (Singles 30s & 40s)

Thursdays at 7PM  | August 1 – 29
Room 222
Micaela Morenz & Tilley Duthie

We’re Single Men and Single Women in their 30s and 40s who are actively pursuing a relationship with Jesus by living out God’s purposes for our life. Whether you’ve never been married, are divorced, are widowed or are a single parent, this is the place for you.

EVERYBODY, ALWAYS Bible Study—In his entertaining and inspiring follow-up to Love Does, Bob Goff takes readers on a journey into the secret of living without fear, constraint, or worry. The path toward the liberated existence we all long for is found in a truth as simple to say as it is hard to do: love people, even the difficult ones, without distinction and without limits.

Driven by Bob’s trademark storytelling, Everybody, Always reveals the lessons Bob learned—often the hard way—about what it means to love without inhibition, insecurity, or restriction. From finding the right friends to discovering the upside of failure, Everybody, Always points the way to embodying love by doing the unexpected, the intimidating, the seemingly impossible. Whether losing his shoes while skydiving solo or befriending a Ugandan witch doctor, Bob steps into life with a no-limits embrace of others that is as infectious as it is extraordinarily ordinary. Everybody, Always reveals how we can do the same.

Divorce Care

Thursdays at 6:30PM  |  June 6 – September 5
Room 110
Michael & Mary Rosen

DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each session has two distinct elements: a seminar with experts (30-40 minute video) and a support group with focus.  After viewing the video, DivorceCare group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members.

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone.
