The Bible uncovers that Gods plan is that every Christ-follower would become a priest. "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." 1 Peter 2:9
We know, a crazy thought. You are a priest. Not the kind that wears a collar. But, in Christ, you have been commissioned to take the hand of God and the hand of people and bring them together. This is serving at Harborside.

Harborside Chapel
Help serve at weddings or become a marriage mentor couple that teaches biblical skills to engaged couples.
Production Team
Be apart of capturing Sunday mornings for our online church and digital audience.
Worship Team
For those with a musical gifting, you can audition for our worship music team.
Serving Usher
Help our people have what they need for service. Communion, flyers, and other tangibles are passed out as they come through the auditorium doors.
Campus Safety
We value excellent safety and security across all ministries happening Sunday morning. Help protect our people!
Hospitality
Help us by becoming a parking aid, greeter, front desk helper, or barista at the cafe! A smiling and helpful face makes the world of a difference.
Harborside Cares
Become a responder, team member, or family in our wrap-around care ministry for adoptive and foster families in our city.
Student Ministry
Serve our middle school and high school communities. Mentoring is crucial in this stage of our kid's lives.
Kids Ministry
Serve the next generation! We don't just do Kids ministry, we are raising up ministers.
We ask all our volunteers: past, present, or future to go through the 4-Sunday Next Class. In this class we share our mission, vision, and strategy of our church. While it is not required, many departments will lead new volunteers to the Next Class as their first step to start serving.

Being a volunteer at Harborside means that you have said yes to joining the mission of the church: to love and lead people into encounters with the fullness of God. It also means that you live in agreement with God's word; it is our anchor for everything we do. If those two requirements are met in word and deed, you can serve!
Of course! At Harborside, we believe every believer is a "priest" (1 Peter 2:9). Serving at our church is not restricted to a particular ministry or initiative. Being a priest means we serve God in whatever environment we are in. We encourage our volunteers to serve in multiple areas!
