con-nect' Its literal meaning is to join or fasten together. But to us personally, connecting means belonging. At Harborside we are dedicated to providing you strategic and efficient opportunities where you can connect as well as have a sense of belonging - both to God and each other. That is why we exist. We put it this way: we exist to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
So how does connection happen? We have four main paths, or strategic environments, which lead to connection here at Harborside. Whether you are new to God or have been around church for years, there is something for you. Remember, we all want to connect - let us give you all the encouragement and equipment you need.
"Joining the mission" is what being a member of Harborside Christian Church is all about. As a member we will ask you to move beyond simply participating in our incredible environments or getting your name on a list, to partnering with us in creating, leading, and resourcing our environments as well.
Attending the Harborside: Join the Mission MEMBERSHIP class is the first step toward joining the mission of Harborside.
Our goal is our congregation’s mission - “to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ”. Everyone grows spiritually at different rates and in different ways. We want to help each individual follow Jesus each day, one step at a time, in an effort to become more like Him. Connect Groups are an opportunity for us to grow together in biblical knowledge and connect with each other as a church body through prayer, encouragement and accountability.
We could never accomplish what we do here at Harborside without Volunteers! We look to them to help us accomplish our mission - to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. STRATEGIC SERVICE Teams apply their hearts and hands in the places of greatest demand.
